About the Role:
Junior Accounts Administrator

Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to support the smooth financial and administrative operation of Powell Property, ensuring accurate account management, timely landlord payments, and clear communication with tenants, landlords, and external stakeholders.

This position plays a key role in maintaining trust, compliance, and operational efficiency across our property and block management services.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Accurately enter and process invoices

Process tenant deposit returns in line with regulations

Complete and maintain Excel spreadsheets and financial records
-
Monitor and follow up on unpaid rents
-
Prepare and issue correspondence relating to unpaid rents, including furnishing the RTB where required
-
Liaise with electricity providers regarding invoicing queries
-
Handle telephone and general accounts-related queries professionally
-
Prepare and issue monthly landlord remittances
-
Maintain accurate block management and financial records

Support the wider property management and accounts team as required
Requirements:

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

Ability to work efficiently in a busy office environment

Confident using Microsoft Excel and handling financial data

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Professional, reliable, and discreet when handling sensitive information
